I can’t live without soy sauce, I have like 4 in my pantry atm and it’s not those small traditional ones with either the green or red cap, its the huge ones.

Ooh yes, I love soy sauce too! We have a giant one at home plus a mini one too (but wow you have a lot :joy: )

Hi! I’m confused on one thing regarding the stereotypes to avoid that pretty much everyone has included in this thread.

What do you actually mean by “small eyes”? And can you provide examples of ‘small eyes’ from the portal please?

Because in Italian (Italy) the stereotype is that east asians have ‘occhi a mandorla’ which translates to ‘almond eyes’. It mostly refers to monolids, but not only. Literally any long almond (usually upward) shaped eyes fall into that category (ex. Angular Slender, any eye shape with “Almond” in the name, and both “Monolid” eye shapes). Is this the same as ‘small eyes’? Or do you mean something different?

We mean the same thing, most people think that asians have those slender eyes/almond eyes that are really tiny and it’s not true, most of us have big eyes. Hope I helped you understand better

As @rina.writes said, it does refer to the slender almond, small almond, slender, and monolid eyes.

Thank you both @rina.writes and @scarlettm
I never thought of slender/almond eyes as tiny, that’s why I was confused!

So she is supposed to be Vietnamese but she doesn’t look like at all does she?

she looks Filipino.

Oh… Well I guess it’s a good thing this thread is here. I have looked up how Vietnamese people typically look and she doesn’t quite fit that appearance. But at the same time I don’t want to change how she looks because this is how I picture her. So I guess it’s safe to change her ethnicity/nationality? :woman_shrugging:t5:

You could make her mixed if you wanted to.

Hmm, I don’t know what I’d mix her with

this is a Viet character i based off my friend catherine who’s Vietnamese. hopefully that can be of some help to you if you’re willing to change appearance.

Could be Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Mongolian, Singaporean etc.

Thank you

I’m Vietnamese and my skin is a little lighter (than your first picture.) She otherwise looks good though.

So, I’m slowly working on the characters for my upcoming story and the MC is Filipino.
Does she look alright?

And I’m still looking for a fitting name for her. Any suggestions? I have few names for her but I’m unsure which to use.

I also plan to include limited CC because of her Filipino origin. Is there something I should consider when I put limited CC for the MC?
