Thoughts on adding magic into a mystery story?

Hey there! I’m currently writing my first real Episode story and was wondering if any of y’all could give me some feedback on an idea I had. Basically, I want to add some magic in the mystery story I’m writing currently. Do you think that adding magic would defeat the purpose of it being a mystery story, or would it be something exciting to read? Thank you! :heart:

Ofcourse girl it will be more exciting to see magic and mystery together.
