Not sure if this is the right area to put on but does anyone get so annoyed by characters or stories that say
“I don’t like him/her”
“ I’ll never like them”
“I don’t see the big deal”
Then after meeting them not even a few seconds they fall for them and want them, like what was the point in mentioning that you didn’t want said person just to go for them after meeting them

Yeah, I do sometimes get annoyed… not to be rude to anyone who has written a story like this, of course. I just feel like the steps from enemies → lovers takes a long time, and doesn’t happen immediately.
