By today’s ideas and standards he is (I am not at all saying his actions are alright) but this was back in ancient Greece where that wasn’t considered to be bad. The idea was to spread your mark per say and have as many kids as possible and he did just that. He went about it very very wrong but of course that wasn’t wrong back then.
