To all the lovely LoVeLy episode authors writers out there.
How do you guys distinguish time for writing and regular day things?
Once I start to write, I start going ham for a good 5-7 hours.
What are your methods of balance or what do you do that works for you?
Thx for feedback
I set aside certain times for writing. I usually write between 4pm to 7pm on weekdays. If I miss my writing time I will save it for another day. Now on the weekends I will write outside my schedule time. I generally go ham on the weekends.
If I have an story idea and I’m busy at the moment. I will save the ideas in my phone. Then come back to it later when I can write. This is the best method for me.
I am not sure if you are in school or not but I am HAHA!
But the way I do it is try to set a time for certain things throughout the day I even printed my schedule out. But basically I get all my school work done first and then see what else I have to get done before I start to type, because like you if I don’t I will go in for hours!
My best suggestion would be to finish any work/school first, and then set certain times for example this is my schedule at home since it is currently coronacation HAHA!
- 7:00 - 8:30 I am getting up and just getting up
- 8:30-10:30 I am working on 1st and 2nd period
- 10:30-11:00 I have free time to do whatever, so I might use this for writing!
- 11:00-11:30 I eat lunch haha
- 11:30-1:30 I am working on 3rd and 4th period
- 1:30-2:00 I have another half hour of free time
- 2:00-4:00 I do any chores and household things so I don’t forget about them, and then when i am done I can chill
- 4:00-8:00 I also have free time I also try to get some exercise in here and there and eat dinner but that gives you a bit to write as well
- 8:00-10:00 I get ready for bed!
IK that lots of this you don’t need to know but it really is helpful for me to have a schedule to stick to!
I hope this is helpful!
Yes thank you both
