From my experience itโs better than public school, from k-8 (basically 10 years) I was bullied relentlessly but in high school it stopped. I mean there were a few incidents but overall the experience is way better than public/middle school. In high school, I was the loner of the school and it felt nice not having anyone bother me
there is no recess which means no hour of walking in the boiling heat, overthinking
I think you will like it better than public/middle school as people are a bit more mature, care more about education and the older students can also help you out if you have a question (ex. if theyโre part of orientation crew) there are more clubs to join, more memories to make, and etc. I remember I was so nervous and shy but if someone like me can do it, I know you can too
Stay safe and donโt do any drugs. Avoid parties (imo). If youโre ever faced with peer pressure (hopefully never), ALWAYS SAY NO. Any thing that happens to you can change the course of your history. And for someone like me who grew up internet-less, high school has computers you can use in the library for school work whereareas in public school, had to swing it
of course every experience will be different depending on what type of school you go to but note that so many people went to high school and graduated just fine
Good luck
