Generic females eyes and the almond shaped eyes are mostly used on white characters. I think the bigger issue is the sheer lack of Asian characters/representation in stories. Not the fact that their giving monolid eyes to white characters.
As I stated, native Americans are also known for having slender/monolid eyes. monolid eyes are NOT exclusive to Asians and can be a common feature for other races just as it is for Asians.

Especially when it comes to INK. In terms of shape, I think it’s the slender natural that looks very much like monolids with makeup, but most people use them for their white MCs and only use the specifically labelled monolids for the Asian characters
As if Asian characters can only have eyes that are called monolids and anything else that looks slim and pretty only gets used on white people

I also think the issue is that there are hundreds of white characters who have pretty eyes that look like monolids, yet I could probably count the Asian people who get eyes other than the standard monolids we got originally on my hand
Sis use whatever features you want. Generic or not. It’s your story.
Well I don’t practice that. I use pretty features when making Asian characters

People just like to overuse the features they find attractive, that’s why I’m always using the diamond face shape in LL. It’s just all up to personal preference
I like it too. But it’s still overused.
The Diamond face is nice. Lol I dont get why people don’t use it.
And don’t get me wrong! The original monolids are pretty, but using the same features for all Asian characters does have the down side of the fact that it’s very difficult to make them all look different.
I agree. But lots of good things are overused or overrated. Breathing is overrated but we all still do it! (That may be because we NEED to, but you get what I’m saying.)
