I hate it when black authors be like:
“I hate all the overused features on characters! Stop doing it. I’m not with that wave.” Then proceeds to do this.
Just because you made them dark skinned, doesn’t make it any less generic.
haha yeah they think that their not creating generic characters just because they have a darker skin

Right! If they don’t go somewhere.
I prefer big eyes anyway
I only say that because my eyes are huge
I like both.

Actually really big
Woah.
That sounds wrong…
I’m gonna be honest here. I’m not trying to star drama, so sorry if I come off as that. I HAVE visited Nigeria. And as ‘off’ as it sounds, most of the women I saw had this kind of hair. Now, this is just in NIGERIA. The kinky, natural hair that people say all-or most black people have is true, and false at the same time? What I mean is, if the author uses this hair, it’s not WRONG. If it’s representing someone from an African country, where majority DO have this hair. Tell me if I’m wrong, but I do know that it’s not JUST about the hair. I just wanted to throw out the fact that, yes, africans, or black people, can have what I call ‘white’ hair.
Nope, you’re half-right. Although most-fully black people get kinky, coarse, coily hair, black people CAN get straight hair, not “white” hair BC Asians also predominantly have straight hair as well.

Never said black characters can’t have that hair though.
What is with people putting these words into my mouth? Lmao just assuming what I’m saying.

It’s just getting me mad because you took everything I said and turned it into something it’s not. Lmao what?
I was trying to word that into my whole big paragraph. Like I know you didn’t say it, I just felt I had to type it. I’m not trying to put words into your mouth. It’s just something I was trying to write out, in a way so I wouldn’t be involved in some kind of drama.
I get annoyed when people put words in my mouth too lmao
