so a lot of people, me included does not have English as there birth language. what do you people be the worst English word

for me its then and than. I can never remember which is which and always have to google it when I use them

edit: you know what if you’re English you can comment too. no need to keep people out of the discussion

Try this: “then” is related to time, while “than” is a comparison like “as”, so checking the context might help. :sunglasses:
I think the words “queue” and “syringe” are odd. Correctly using apostrophes also is tricky.

A few years ago it was impossible for me to say the word “question”.
But since I’ve started learning French, English seems like the easiest thing I’ve ever done :joy:

For me it’s necessary. Luckily, there’s autocorrect for that (although I shouldn’t depend on autocorrect at all times).

English is kind of like my language, BUT I still usually make grammar errors. Like…“your”, and “am”. Simple mistakes but I can handle it.

Lol English is my first language but right now it’s the word peak/peek since I realised a few months ago that for every single post on my IG feed, I’d written “sneak peak” on the image instead of “sneak peek”. :woman_facepalming:t4:
