Lol, it’s not unfixable, these are all really easy little things that we all fuck up on at some point. I do have some name ideas,

Mechanical Heart
Heart of Metal
Electric Heart
Love, Death, and Cyborgs
Terminate Her

Most of my ideas have something to do with romance and Gadgetry, Romance and Gadgetry would also be a cool title.

I’m not a social media fan tbh. I hate Instagram so im not sure about having an episode one but would it still be seen even if i don’t make an Instagram?

Don’t be embarrassed

That’s where I got most of my reads tbh.

That’s fair.

Sure. @amberose didn’t have an IG for ages and accumulated quite a few reads on her stories. So it’s possible. You can always advertise on the forums and do read-for-reads. I don’t usually recommend those, but sometimes those read-for-readers might turn into genuine readers who will continue reading your story.
I just think it’s harder.
If I didn’t have an IG and hadn’t announced my story, I might still have 10 reads lol.
Whenever I update the story and announce it, I get a huge spike in reads from people who follow me. Without IG, people would actually need to go into the app to see.

It’s up to you tho

The thing is i don’t have a fan base on episode to start my own episode Instagram account. So i wouldn’t know who to follow or interact with :joy: introvert problems

People are really supportive there. You’ll meet a lot of people.

Oh I completely get that too. When I first released a story, it took me over 2 weeks to get 100 reads (they were all read-for-reads) and I basically did follow-for-follow on IG with Episode accounts so they weren’t true followers/readers. But eventually I made friends just through interactions and my second story did really well (contest winner) so I built a following from that.

I might make one soon see what happens. My story might have more chance to get noticed. I need to change the name and cover first tho

I understand 100%. It’s hard to hear anything negative about your story, but try not to take things too personally. (easier said than done)

I think follow for follow can be helpful though. They may eventually be looking for a story to read as well.

It’s ok! It can be discouraging.
As I said before, it took me a long time to get reads.
(and what I have is barely anything compared to some of the people in this thread, lol)

Hey Gabi.episode,

Really offtopic, right now, (sorry, but not sorry :innocent: ) but:
I guess I am one of your readers… :joy: :joy:
I loved your story ‘Relentless’… So, I don’t get it…

@Kirsten18
You are not a terrible writer… (I know that, because you can expres what you feel right, now, over here in this topic…) It only takes a while for some readers to find your story…
Best advice is: Show your story on instagram and maybe on Facebook or other media…
Don’t forget to update your story once in a while and don’t forget to update your media sources, too…

Love A-W
