So I am trying to fade out black then fade in black to a different background. I did the coding for it and I did spot directing in between the fades, so when it fades in the characters are already positioned. For some reason the fade in and out awkwardly switches to the next scene, glitching the characters out, not in the position they were assigned.
Heres my coding:

I changed it but then Athena suddenly pops up on screen in a position I didn’t assign (She pops up screen right for a second then disappears and starts entering from the left) . Yasmin is now fixed though, thanks.
Okay so the reason that’s happening is because added the layer commands before you placed your characters. When you add layers, you have to add at the same time you place your characters. Also, using “enters from” places the characters at default layers, so you will need to place your character at a spot offscreen with the layer you want them at then make them walk to their spot. When using spot direction, you can add the layer using this format: @CHARACTER spot % x y in zone # at layer #
