Trisha Gold's Free Google Drive (+ ask for any help!)

Hello everyone!

I’ve had this free Google Drive for a while now, full of all kinds of helpful things, but I never shared it on the Forums, so I figured it was aboout time I did!

In my drive you can find:

  • Script spot templates (mostly INK oriented)
  • Directing templates (CC for INK & LL, big dressing game and tips)
  • Helpful documents to help with planning/writing your own story (a guide to character creation and an Excel sheet to keep track of your characters’ diversity)
  • Backgrounds and overlays (recently added, still not too many and mostly flipped Episode backgrounds or overlays that are cut out from Episode backgrounds, but also some self-made overlays)

If you’re missing anything, let me know and I’ll see what I can do to fulfill your need! It could be a spot (INK or LL) or directing template, other directing help or any Episode background you need something cut out of.

Please note I might not be able to take your request or won’t be able to do it. I’m not the best, but I’m always happy to see what I can do, or even direct you to someone who might be able to help you further if I cannot.

If you use something from this drive: always credit me (@/writer.trishagold on Instagram), every episode/time you use something of mine.

I look forward to seeing how you all will use the things in my drive and hope to hear your requests in the future.
Happy writing! :raising_hand_woman:t2:

Here’s a little sneak peak of an Episode background turned into overlays to be used to have a more realistic scene with characters standing in front and behind objects in the room.

Original Episode background name: INT. LIVING ROOM MODERN COZY - NIGHT

Overlays

The room with the background in the windows cut out (so someone or something can appear on the other side of the window ). Upload name: LIVING ROOM MODERN COZY

The couch. Upload name: LIVING ROOM MODERN COZY COUCH

The stool. Upload name: LIVING ROOM MODERN COZY STOOL

The plant. Upload name: LIVING ROOM MODERN COZY PLANT

Background

You could use the Episode background INT. LIVING ROOM MODERN COZY - NIGHT from the Art Catalog, but if it doesn’t look right for some reason you can always use this background I made with just the background that’s visible in the windows in the original Episode background and black around it (since it’s the NIGHT version). Upload name: INT. LIVING ROOM MODERN COZY OUTSIDE

This and many other things are available in my Google Drive. You’re also free to ask me for help making overlays out of Episode backgrounds, coding help, or anything else. I’m happy to see if I can help!

Happy writing! :raising_hand_woman:t2:

Here I am again with another Episode background I made an overlay out of.
This time we have: INT. CEO OFFICE - DAY which I uploaded under the name CEO OFFICE DESK.

I wish you all happy writing again, and don’t hold back to ask me for anything! I’m note sure I’ll able to help everyone with everything, but I’m happy to try!

OMG, I needed this so bad!!
I’ll surely use it and credit you, of course.
Thank you for sharing!

Hello, I’m back with an example of what’s in my drive. Something different from backgrounds made into overlays this time.

I’d like to let you all know / remind you that my drive also includes directing templates, such as a ‘Big Dressing Game’ template with categories such as pants, skirts and dresses. It’s up to you to make all the outfits and choose how many there will be per category, but this template already has 3 outfit choices per category, so that’s 12 outfits in total you’ll have to make if you keep this template the way it is.
Of course, you could change the categories from pants and skirts to colors, seasons, or whatever you’d like! Just be sure that when you use my template as a starting point you’ll need to credit me, since you’re using a code I worked on from scratch and so put my time and effort into.

Here’s an example of how the basic template looks with the categories:

Guess who’s back. Back again. Trisha’s back. With another directing template example. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This time I’m showing you what my Complete Customization Templates in INK styles look like for male and female characters. Since INK isn’t being updated anymore they’re as good as you can get. Everything is included for both genders. And when I say everything… I mean EVERYTHING! Even the male version has all the lipstick shades :joy:
Have fun creating all your characters and/or giving your readers FULL creative freedom with these truly COMPLETE customization templates.

Feel free to take out whatever you don’t need or want your readers to change about one or multiple of your characters. But as always, don’t forget to credit me (a reader message is included to make it easier for you).
Happy writing! :raising_hand_woman:t2:

Hello! Bonjour! Ciao! Hallo! Hola! Nǐ hǎo! Privet! Marhabaan! Jambo!

My introduction is in the style of the thing I’d like you all to know is in my Google Drive: my Character Creation Guide.

This guide includes three (yes, just 3!) easy steps to help you create new characters for you story. Whether it’s a background or side character, or your newest MC or love interest, with these three easy steps I’ve made my fair share of characters, and I couldn’t be happier with the unique and diverse characters it’s brought me in the process.

Next to the three easy steps, this document also includes skin shade chards, of which the Fitzpatrick scale includes more in depth information about where people with these types of skintones (can) come from. Here’s a small example of the skin type chards and the extra information.

Because the Fitzpatrick scale names regions and continents I even included a regional breakdown of the world, listing which countries belong to which continents. So when you’ve picked a skin type for your character, just go to the continent’s breakdown which the scale says the skin color is common in, and pick a country for your character to be from. Here’s an example of two breakdowns:

This document has helped me a lot with getting to know my own characters even better. I had some characters already made in Episode which I got to know even better with this information, giving them a country and more cultural background, and I also made some the other way around: picking a shade from the chards and a country first before making the character in Episode.
Hopefully this document will be helpful to you or others.
Feel free to share this document with everyone! You never know who you’ll be able to help with it :innocent:

Happy creating! :raising_hand_woman:t2:

It might not be really festive to end the year with this post, but since it’s been a while I wanted to show something from my drive again to bump up the topic again.

This time I’m happy to share with you some overlays I personally made for my story Luminesce.
Around halfway in this story, the characters encounter some monsters called sluaghs. These monsters stem from my research into monsters that have ‘damned souls’ and are ‘obligated to serve in the afterlife’. During this research I found the sluaghs from Irish and Scottish folklore, which are the ‘hosts of the unforgiven dead’. They’re also known as scavenging, animalistic creatures that prey on souls. According to some Google searches they sometimes have great wings or can shapeshift into fearsome birds.

Anyway, folklore lesson aside, here’s what I came up with for my monsters/sluaghs. I wanted it to seem like they kind of have wings, but mostly envisioned them as smokey/ghost-like creatures that can emerge out of nowhere.
You are free to use these as overlays in your own story, just be sure to credit me whenever you do.

Spooky writing! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :raising_hand_woman:t2:
And see you in 2024! :anifireworks:

Hello creators!

I hope all of your new years eve’s were nice (or if you celebrate Chinese New Year it’s going to be great). Mine was quiet, relaxed, just what I wanted. And now, I’m back to show you what else is in my Free Google Drive.

This time, a directing template you could have guessed is in there: a Complete Limelight Customization Template for both male and female characters. Just like the INK version the male version includes EVERYTHING the female one has, so even all the lip colors. :joy: I just put everything that’s available in there so you can put it all in and give players actual FULL customization, or take things out you don’t like.

If you’re having problems with taking out choices or don’t even dare to because of possible errors, let me know! I’ll be happy to help take out what you don’t want and can make a separate template just for the customization you want.

Since Limelight is still being updated by the team and (mostly) new hairstyles come out once in a while I’ll keep y’all up-to-date here on when the templates have been updated with the newly released features.
For right now, the templates are 100% up-to-date with the latest hairstyle for both male and female characters: Braided Ponytail Hair Complex Color.

Example Braided Ponytail Hair Complex Color

New Female Ponytail Hair Front

New Male Ponytail Hair Front

And that was it again for this time. Have fun using these templates in your story and let me know if you need any help or have any questions regarding them!

Happy writing!

Completely random but we have the same name :scream:. Ive never met somone woth the same name as me loll

Great backgrounds! I think is isnt gaining alot of attention because i should be in the art corner maybe? Also i don’t have permission to open the drive…

Haha, I love random! And wow! I’ve never met anyone with the same exact name as well :scream: Only seen profiles come by with the same name here and there, but it’s still quite unique!~

Yeah, I was thinking on where to put the topic. Maybe I should make two? One for the directing part of the drive and one for the BG’s and art part of it?
For now I put it in the Creator’s Corner and with the tags help, art and directing to have the ‘art’ part be about the BG’s, but you’re right I think this could be the reason it doesn’t get much attention (yet?).

Also, that’s weird. I thought I had it set to be shared with whomever has the link, to be able to open it once clicked. Let me check so you can get in !

I just checked my Drive’s access and made sure that the link is set to open to everyone. When you click this link: Trisha Gold's Episode Help Collection - Google Drive or in the post above (updated) it should take you to the drive and you should be able to see it all.
You’ll be a ‘watcher’ or whatever it’s called (just translated what it’s called in my language :joy: ), so you won’t be able to edit anything, just open and view and copy to paste into your own script when you want. If this still doesn’t work and you get to a page that says you can ask for permission to enter the drive you should do that and I should get an email in which I can accept. Otherwise if nothing really works let me know, I could change it so that everyone who has the link can view AND comment, but I’d rather have that turned off as I don’t see any use in it.

Bye fellow Trisha :raising_hand_woman:t2:

I can open it now thanks! Your backgrounds sre really good :heart_hands::heart_hands::heart_hands: bye fellow trisha (great name btw)

Nah just change the topic to art corner otherwise Sydney will probably merge it together

You sure the directing, spot templates and other kind of documents from the drive also fit in the ‘art corner’? I guess it’s been a lot of backgrounds (and overlays) in the beginning, and it hopefully will be added to in the future, plus it will likely get more views in that category probably, but with the coding templates I’m doubtful about where the topic really belongs. I feel like it’s a grey area :see_no_evil:

Thanks for the tip though! I’ll think some more about it. And great to hear you can access them now! Some of the BG’s are just flipped, because I’m so done with the overly used BG’s from Episode, but don’t have the skills to make my own or much money to spare to buy them elsewhere, so I just figured flipping some would make it look at least a tiny bit different :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
