Trouble with creating a story

Hi I’m having trouble creating a story, I just have a couple of questions about it:

1.how do I start?
2. How do I get a background from the selection of backgrounds onto my first scene?
3.how do I make it limelight?
4. How do I allow my readers to customise the character on my story and name them?

For the background , you just simply copy and paste the background name into your script (I sorry if I answer wrong because I don’t understand question two)
