Tutorial: Speech Bubble

Hello, fellow episodians! This is a tutorial on Speech bubbles
This is a verbal tutorial, so if you prefer looking at pictures this tutorial is NOT recommended.

To hide the speech bubble- (tap to continue)
You set the speech bubble.
for instance-
@speechbubble is 150 150 to 100% with tail_top_left

Now, of course you can set the numbers and the tail to whatever you want. There are no preferred numbers.

This one is pretty simple, as I showed in the section above.
The command to set your speechbubble to any number is-

@speechbubble is x y to w% with tail_x_y

Now, the tail-
The tail, shows where the speech is coming from.
Bottom left? …with tail_bottom_left
Top right? …with tail_top_right
Bottom right? …with tail_bottom_right
Top left? …with tail_top_left

I think that pretty much covers it all.

Further questions? Feel free to ask!!!

I hope this helped! :slightly_smiling_face:

Could you explain a little more how exactly to hide the speech bubble? For example, I’m creating a mini game with tappable overlays, and if they choose the wrong option I have a narration bubble saying “Try again”, but once I tap the screen, the bubble doesn’t go away. Any suggestions?

Found a solution! Thanks :slight_smile:
