I, being a twin, think it can’t be farther from the truth, but both my sisters and my brother think that it’s possible. Yes, things like saying the same thing at the same time and getting each other the same thing for our birthdays and getting our parents the same card for their anniversary and picking the same school project and stuff like that happens but it’s just coincidences, right? Okay after that list I’m not so sure myself, but… see this is why it’s so confusing.
I‘m not sure about telepathy but I think you just have similar characteristics and when you grow up as teins, parents like to dress you the same and make you kinda have the same interests so it‘s not unuasal that sometimes you buy/get/write/say the same things
I think it’s mostly about how good you connect with one another. Some twins are glued to the hip, dress the same, and act the same which can also be perceived as “telepathy”, while others don’t share those things.
My fiancé’s a twin, and I forget about it all the time because him and her have like no relationship whatsoever. They never hang out just the two of them, they barely even talk, for that fact. He even forgets that he’s a twin lol
Which is why I think it just depends on the people and their relationship together
