I have recently seen authors starting their first stories and people joining the forums so I have decided to make this thread to help those who need it.
This thread is also pretty helpful to me especially the keyboard shortcuts as I am a pretty forgetful person…

NEED HELP LOOKING FOR BACKGROUNDS AND OVERLAYS?
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING:
Backgrounds and overlays are NOT safe to be used if from google due to copyright, but there are many people on forums and instagram that make free overlays and backgrounds and some public domain websites you are free to use images from, I have linked a couple threads, google drives and links below, make sure you give credits to the owners of the background drives and threads, if its from a website, you don’t have to worry about credits!!

Some images can be too small, this means they won’t be able to be uploaded to the catalog unless cropped, there are many websites you can use to crop your images.

Here are some of the keyboard shortcuts i found for the portal:
Ctrl + Z - Undo the last action on the writer portal.
Ctrl + Y - Undoes the undo.
Ctrl + S - Saves your work.
Ctrl + F - Finds words.
Ctrl + V - Copy
Ctrl + V - Paste.
Ctrl± - Zoom out
Ctrl++ - Zoom in
