Underatted authors

This is pretty hypocritical when you’re not supporting the other people who are trying to help underappreciated authors.

We are just correcting you and you are just getting upset over it. We mean no harm, you just won’t listen to what we are trying to say.

So how do you know you’ll be able to read @ELx’s story in one day to be able to post it on IG? It could be 50 chapters long.

Maybe if you check my page then you’d know

Maybe if you check my website you’ll see you’re not the only one trying. But you don’t because this is more about you than it is other authors.

Everything causes me harm

I just need support and nobody here has ever given it

GIVE support then. Before you ask for it, GIVE it. Stop bringing up your own story. Start supporting the hundreds of other IG accounts that are doing it BETTER. Do your research.

Exactly.

What I find the most interesting is how many “big” and featured authors this small author account is following. I went through the whole thing and I didn’t see another underappreciated authors IG account followed on here.

Smh. The hypocrisy.

Or even worse for me is how generic the captions are for the 6 stories that have been promoted on it thus far. No screenshots to prove that she’s read the stories. No feedback for the authors. No “If you liked this…” kinda stuff I’ve seen on other IG accounts. Worst of all, the first promotion (which I don’t count in the 6) was HER story.

One of the ones from a day ago didn’t even spell “princess” properly in the summary. People want to be recommended quality stories. Why would we waste our passes just to make some writer who can’t even be bothered to use a dictionary feel good?

I don’t wanna read trashy stories and no one else likes to so why suggest it?

Also, why are they all romance stories? Surely at least ONE out of the 6 promoted (all in the space of the past 2 days even though she announced the IG ages ago) should be in another genre? Why is it favouring people who like romance?

“Underrated” implies the stories are good quality. You can’t make a reader feel like they’re going to be spending their passes on a decent story when you’re not even telling people what makes it special and interesting. Prove you’ve read it yourself before you expect anyone else to.

You don’t need to write a whole review, but just a line or two about what makes it special would do.

Quality is not the same as time and effort.

Whats wrong with who she is following?

She doesn’t say that the “big authors” are bad or what? :woman_shrugging:t3:

She says she wants to support “small authors”, yet she’s made no effort to support the people who are already doing that.

Um… No. They don’t have to do anything O_o
They made stories, and we can argue about these stories quality, but they don’t own u anything. Promote yours, or promote underrated stories, like some people in our community do, and stop whining and thinking someone owns u something just because they are more successful. It’s not socialism -_-

So? That still doesn’t answer my question why its wrong that she follow big authors?
