You’re scaring me a little because I also used the text feature to make my speech bubble standout when the character had a thought. So I hope I won’t have to go back and redo the enter storyline cause I literally used the text effect feature for the narration and dialogue.
I have an iPhone and I still don’t have any updates, I think it’s just a lottery of the random users.
Here’s some pics I put together to show you guys the difference.
I don’t know about you guys, but I think the difference is minimal.
Ugh…
Yeah, it seems to be a lot lighter to the point you barely notice it. I use the italic and bold font for the dialogue when using the thinking speech bubbles.
Hmmm, yeah… it’s definitely a little too subtle if you ask me… I like to use it for emphasis too, but at the moment it doesn’t seem very… emphatic.
Exactly! It’s barely noticeable
I really hope the Episode team will improve the italic effect and make it more distinguishable.
Or give us option to have old speech bubbles if we want…
Same! The name box draws too much attention.
Omg yaaas, even better!
They should let us choose!
Me too
In literally 2 minutes when I closed and open app again I got a new speech bubbles… now I’m scared to check my story out.
Without a warning
That’s exactly what happened to me yesterday!
Sending you some virtual chocolate for comfort.
Thank you! I love chocolate!
Chocolate make everything better!
And also, it’s really healthy:
I had the new speech bubbles and then they were gone the next day lol I figured it was because of the placement which was really off
I hope this will happen to me
I definitely prefer how it was before (in regards to the italics).
I don’t actually mind the new speech bubble styles though . In fact I didn’t even realise that I had them until I took a screenshot of something and looked at it later
