how do i make my characters walk to a different zone off screen?

What do you mean off-screen?

like i dont want the pan to follow the characters.

i have a character in zone 1 but i want them to walk to zone 3

Do something like this

@CHAR exits right
&CHAR stands screen left/center/right in zone 3

@CHARACTER walks to [spot] in zone 3
