'Walks to spot' error?

Hi! Could anyone tell my what’s wrong with this?

@YOU walks to spot 1.097 212 58 189 AND MIA walks to spot 1.135 73 49

I’m getting a warning saying ‘use @CHARACTER walks to x y z in S’
Mil gracias!

You have too many numbers here. It’s meant to be walks to % x y

Check out @RudeInception’s thread for a simple explanation with examples:

So spot directing works like a coordinate system. So you have x with is the length of the screen, y is the height of the screen. And then there’s the scale. So the higher you put the first number (the scale) the bigger your haracter is gonna be, the bigger your second number is (the x axis) the more to the right you character will be and the bigger your third number is (the y axis) the higher you character is going to stand.

But if you want a short answer: you only need 3 numbers (if you don’t think about seconds)

Hi, I have this error as well and I don’t know what to do…

Did you copy and paste the coordinates from the previewer? :blush: I would definitely recommend doing that!

I think there’s a space on the coordinate 1.400 (x), since it looks like 1. 400 that may be why it’s not working :slight_smile:

Okay thanks :slight_smile:
