Want to be the first to use a new statistics bar? You can put this in YOUR story too!

#1

I have a great thing for people who need complicated stories and I think I am the first person ever in Episode to create something like this and I want everyone else to be able to do this. I have made a system that tracks the player’s choices that affects the story. For instance, the player gets to choose if they want to go for a relationship with “Lee” or not. If they choose yes, then at the end of the episode, it will use the gains to say: “You left Lee feeling Appreciated. You chose to go for a relationship when you had the choice not to.” And if they chose no, then it would say: “You left Lee feeling Rejected. You chose not to go for a relationship when you had the choice to agree.”
I will send the coding right now but remember that if you are using this, you MUST change the "if"s to YOUR gain names. Feel free to change the name of the characters you want. Here’s the coding.

“No, I think I’m fine.”{

This is where the story teaser for the next episode goes! Good Luck!

WARNING: If you need to use a choice that won’t change the story but you want to change the statistics bar, you need to do this:

label try_again2

    OMEN (idle_fight_angry_loop)
(What should I do?)

choice
“Punch her!”{

&SECRATARY is punch_fight_receive_angry

@OMEN is punch_fight_give_angry

&OMEN is punch_fight_receive_angry

@SECRATARY is punch_fight_give_angry

    OMEN (idle_fight_angry_loop)
(That didn't work..)

gain chose_punch2

gain chose_punch

goto try_again2

}
“Use Spell Book.”{

if (chose_punch2){
}
else{

gain didnt_choose_punch

}
Then, use the didnt_choose_ gain to change the statistics if you don’t want the player to go through EVERY single statistics section that has the gains they chose. Seriously, I was making this last night and in the process of testing it for almost the final time, it made me go through EVERY. SINGLE. STATISTIC. that used the gain that I chose. So I tried the final coding you see here, and that worked perfectly.

Btw I forgot to mention that if you want to play my story with this coding, it is currently in the works! But if you want to see more of the complicated coding behind it, tell me in here, and I will put the coding in.
