Some people would like to have certain songs for things like parties and slow dances, weddings, and things like that.
I think we should be able to upload our own music into our stories. For instance if the Episode company allows us to do this we can’t abuse it. Right? So…they can check the song just like the overlays and backgrounds . Just so it won’t be an inappropriate song. But we have to be sure to put who the song is by and what the song is called so readers know what the song is and who it’s by Incase they like the song.
Who else agrees and please let get alot of comments if you want this because I do.
Songs will always be copyrighted. Can’t change that, but like if they did let you add your own music that u sang or created then I guess they will allow it, but I still support.
Even if you give CREDITS, its still copyrighted. A song is copyrighted no matter what, the copyright can’t magically disappear if when know the artist and the name, it doesn’t work like that. And episode can’t just pay the copyright of 10000 songs since that would cost a fortune. I support, but it should only allow non-copyrighted songs that are free to use.
Now what would make your idea better, we could upload a URL from YouTube or something and Episode could review the video and make sure it’s copyright free. If it is, the audio can get in, but credit is still required since it may be royalty free, but credit is like the payment or fee we have to give to use the music. This is the same with copyrighted songs, but that fee/payment is real money and not credit. But your idea is really good
This is my opinion but I think you should credit because someone else actually made it and you just payed for it and not crediting is basically saying you made it
But it is an opinion love
And I didn’t say it was 100% considered a payment. Just a figure of speech. I meant like credit is as precious as money to the people who made the audio.
Not giving credit isn’t claiming you made it. Because if it’s a popular song by a well known artist (usually those are the copyrighted ones) if you say you made it no one would believe you because they know the true artist.
now I speak for the artist side. but actually, credit and exposure are worthless. most people dont care about it and you cant use it for anything. music and art is work. imagine if working at retail was pay in credit. like they just put up a sign there said Joe did stack this breed today
