It annoys me that Episode claims to want LGBTQ+ diversity but you couldn’t even wear SNEAKERS as a woman until recently. They’re reinforcing gender stereotypes, so how one could ever do a story about a transgender person’s transition is beyond me. OR even cross dressers. Plus there’s the fact that many gender fluid and non binary people wear clothing that isn’t typically associated to their biological sex

I mean, I’ve been doomed from the start. Every time I’d think of a hobby for a character to have in an original story I realised you can’t do it on Episode.
I haven’t seen many people talking about this, but has anyone else noticed you can’t give characters hobbies, or interests? Gaming? Nope, you’d need to add an overlay but it would look weird because there’s no good animation for it.
Martial arts? Despite the horrendous punch and ‘take the hit’ animations there’s nothing good there.
Reading? You can do, but in a very limited capacity.
Dancing? You can do club dancing but no other kinds really.
I know this is reaching but I’d love to write an MC who loves and is good at - kendo. It’s something unique and interesting but it is physically impossible on all fronts on Episode to do so.
This is an issue. The only thing that should be important to the MC is boys I guess?

Tell me about it! Even sword fighting would be fine as an animation if you could add your own props instead of just overlays

Not sure if someone has said this already…
I used to use episode to read the user stories and I kinda hated it…even now.
I really hate when the best friend in these user stories is a black woman portrayed as being loud and ready to fight.
Not ALL black woman are loud.
Just because we have the same skin tone, doesn’t mean we have the same personality. I mean, I understand the media portrays us in a certain way and people can be influenced by what they see but, I think some writers really need to educate themselves before they just type anything.
