What are some must haves for an Episode story?

Main things for me are

  • There shouldn’t be really excessive use of narration
  • I like stories that move at a fast-pace and don’t bog it down with lots of random stuff for the sake of making the episodes longer, that don’t really contribute to the plotline

Everything @lanafrazer_episode says I agree with 100%.
In the end it’s about your plot- from how throughly it’s written to how well it’s directed.
No matter what story, and this tends to happen a lot in suspense, don’t let your readers get confused. If they don’t know what’s happening it causes them to lose interest.
