I just really don’t like stories in Ink or Classic style. Especially Classic. Some really great stories like The Ember Effect piss me off because the animations and characters just look so weird. I can’t look at the guy characters without cringing super hard. I want to reread Ember Effect but I won’t just because it’s in Classic style. I know it sounds picky but it’s just so unflattering to look at. I wish he would write this story just in Limelight.

Hey! I totally understand what you mean by that! I wanted to ask if you are of the Muslim faith because in my nest chapter from my book called We Conquered The character’s are going to Dubai and I plan on them meeting a woman who is a Hijabi and I want to make her as respectful as I can! Do have any tips on that? Or could you help me if you are of that faith?
Bad grammar and punctuation. If a story has no periods at the end of the dialogue I just can’t read it. I’m too much of a perfectionist. lol

Not gonna lie. When i’m writing i’m always just in my zen and i try to keep the same flow up so i know how my reader feels when they are reading. So having to be reminded of keeping the guidelines on so i know what tablet users feel is sometimes hard. And about the speech bubbles there isn’t an excuse because there is like a red warning thing that pops up telling you if it is out of screen for a ipad user.
Same! No punctuation will quite literally make me exit the story immediately. I feel like adding punctuation at the end of a sentence is a bare minimum expectation. Like, you wouldn’t read a book that is an endless sprawl of words, would you?

Unnecessary choices, definitely. Like, for example, if you chose what to have for dinner. That probably wouldn’t influence the story. It’s kind of like how when you’re supposed to write an article for a website that’s a certain number of characters long, so you add in stuff that doesn’t need to be added and repeat yourself a lot. Except in this, it’s getting 400 lines and getting more readers!

White characters with black features(especially when they say “u can CC everything but her skin”)

When they let u CC BUT u cant change skin “cuz ohh she has to look how I imagine…” DONT INCLUDE CC THEN(especially when there are art scenes AND CC)(why are u having me change my character but warning me tht art scenes wont match) dont include it then. FURTHER MORE(letting me CC having art scenes then the gull to say "if u change skin then sxenes wont match up)

When the best friend is a fun/food lover party girl and thts all she is. Dragging MC to parites criticizing the modestly dressed friend.
“Strong or supa sassay” girls stop this. Stop. Its not strong to backtalk to ppl and be rude as frick. They constantly have a big mouth and cant or wont shut up or quit eye rolling. They are supa strong and dont need help from anyone especically a guy grrrrr.(even when shes never fought before and he saved her butt)
Art scenes. Art scenes. Art scenes. Art scenes. For reasons above…they add nothing and really just alientate certain readers especially when ur adding CC.
Limited CC unnecessary as heck. And honestly very patronizing just dont have it.
When theres a loooong description of how the kiss is and how hawt the characters are

My pet peeves when reading Episode stories:
When the guy is spot directed to where he looks like he’s a foot taller than the girl.
When a Limelight character has the Silhouette Black hair color when they aren’t a silhouette. Jet Black exists in the portal.
When characters have dialogue with kissing animations. This seems petty, but realistically, I don’t think you can talk and kiss at the same time.
When seemingly every character in a Limelight story has the same body type (normally either generic or athletic). Try to have variations between your characters (including your background characters). Don’t just give them all the same body type.

This! Absolutely hate it. I’ve only come across very few authors who create a skip button when they’ve updated an episode. Wish more people would do this.
Also, bad grammar. I feel like an idiot saying it but bad grammar just frustrates the hell out of me. If it’s really bad, I’ll quit the story. Even a few spelling errors can make me cringe. And I am the biggest jerk for thinking so but I just, I can’t help it lol.
I really dislike the whole “author coming onto screen to explain something”-thing. If you have to explain a lot of things, you’re not clear enough in your dialogue.

I love the ember effect although like you I’m not much for the style. I think he made it back when classic was the only option so he didn’t have a choice 
it would be awesome if he re made it

I absolutely HATE grammar issues unless they add to the story (which is unlikely in most cases). If I see one tiny little mistake, or if the same mistake keeps getting repeated… I’m gone.

Hm I can think of quite some things…
- bad grammar and spelling
- too long intros/outros
- no full stops at the end of a sentence
- using non-talking animations while the character is talking
- episodes that are either like 2 minutes long or 30 minutes
- “I know the first episodes aren’t that good but it will get better” - in most cases it won’t
