My experience has been reverse harem stories are a hit and miss.
Some mcs in these stories are so oblivious to what is going on around them lol.

Imo the mc has to b extremely special, like a famous person or smth. If she’s a thick dumba*s who workers in a tiny job and lacks intelligence then how come a lawyer, pop star and rich billionaire r all trying to win her heart, that’s so dumb 
It’s so unrealistic for rich older men to fall in love w a stupid high schooler n compete for her. Bc they won’t. They won’t complete, nobody’s that beautiful n that special that she’s worth battling 2 other guys for.

They get on those sites and become sugar babies. It was interesting watching a show on it.
Some men like to be in a father figure role for their partner. They want to mold or “train” their partner. The type of control is insane for a business relationship.
Cougars, older women, do that as well to younger men. Any relationship that is based on money or power is interesting.

I personally like them if they’re well written but it ruins it for me when the suitors become incredibly jealous, childish, or ask her to marry them after only 8-12 chapters. I also find that MC disrespecting her suitors by kissing one in front of the other or so openly betraying one in some way is ugh and it’s even stranger if the suitors don’t even react to that or they’re so hopelessly in love that they overlook everything MC does.
