What do you guys think about the new feature story”Prosecutie”

I wouldn’t mind if it doesn’t show anything illegal. The reason people like these stories is because it’s so unlikely ever to happen. It’s so unrealistic. I seriously doubt a story would make my little sister go chase after a teacher and I doubt even more a teacher would ever chase after my little sister. I’m not worried but I can’t tell you not to be and if you’re not comfortable letting your sister read them then I completely respect that.

just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s moral or okay. Smoking is legal, but it still ruins your lungs.

Before this gets out of hand … I would like to remind everyone this thread is to discuss the new featured story with a poorly executed play on words. This isn’t about your opinion on Mette’s romance plots.

I see plenty of stories with murderers and gangsters on the app and they get half the hate studentXteacher stories get despite them all being consenting adults. At least the ones in my stories are. But hey, the moral compass points my way I guess. :woman_shrugging::woman_shrugging:

Okay. So I’m seeing that a lot of people saying that the title sounds like ‘prostitute’. While I can see where you guys are coming from with that, the title is actually a play on to word ‘prosecutor’.

For those that don’t know, here is the definition of a prosecutor:

I’m not trying to defend Cleo, nor am I trying to attack her. I just thought I’d put in my two cents.

But it isn’t really normal to show a student and teacher relationship am I wrong?

I apologize for any trouble or frustration I might have caused. I think I misunderstood your instagram story and you’ve made that clear just now . Many points here were right and I think this discussion about the story has come to a conclusion. Again, I apologize if I have caused any trouble, I didn’t mean to bash on your episode/instagram story, even though it may have seemed like it. I didn’t mean to disrespect, nor did I mean to “expose” you or anything of that matter.

I didn’t read, and I will never :joy::joy:

I mean, Mette made a pretty good point here. It’s true that it’s unlikely that readers (mostly the younger) will go after their teacher because they read a story with a teacher-student relationship in it.

I guess it’s still immoral though, but thinking about it, did anyone bash on Aria Montgomery in PLL (I mean more like the author) because she was with Ezra? Pretty self/explanatory

I would rather just find the original and read that to be honest. I would much rather support the actual author than a downgraded, gem filled featured version :woman_shrugging:t3:

I think the original is called The Lawyer and Me (by Cleo of course)

I know but thank you :raising_hand_woman:t3:

Someone has made a separate thread about teacher/student relationships by the way (I’ve already commented on it). It might be best to move that part of the conversation to that particular post.

I don’t know, maybe ask her that. But I think, from what I know about Mette, that she’s just a writer who likes to create fictional characters/stories (like all of them haha). Maybe she saw something and a thought popped up and suddenly inspiration struck, or maybe it’s inspired from a real life event. She’s the one who can answer that.

But to go back on the purpose of it, usually, when an author writes a story, it’s originally not to profit of anything, but to share what they’ve created. I think that might’ve been her purpose?

Wait a minute, this story was featured before. Why does it seem new?

I think some people got to beta read it or something and it had a different title.

Boxers and briefs I think it was called.

I saw Lawyer and Me? Also someone said they saw Court Me as the title before.

The original non featured version was the lawyer and me. Someone said Court me was a better title than prosecutie.

Lol, I’m actually remembering a story my mom told me.
She had a classmate and a teacher who both had what I assume to be sexual/romantic tension. The moment she graduated and left school, they married each other.
She was 18. He was 34.
