Hello! I made an edit of a wedding saree for my story. I did my researches on Bengali wedding sarees and jewelry but I need sarees’ experts or just anyone that has knowledge about Indians sarees to tell me if it’s legit or no.
Also, please keep in mind that I can’t draw to save my life, I can only edit and I make sure to use royalty frees pictures to do so. So I don’t have much to work with.
I didn’t find a veil nor the bracelets, yet. I’m actively looking for ones. And don’t mind the hair either, I’m waiting for Episode to release new updos hairstyles so I can change it!
If you’re wondering, the model is white because she’s a European woman who got married to an Indian man. They decided to have a traditional Indian wedding.
Idk much about anything, but dang, that’s so pretty.
Btw, as for her being white, dw, my prof who lived in India said that Indians come in all sorts of colours. Medium-brown skin is the most common type found there, but there are people who’ve been in India for many generations who could pass for Chinese or African, etcetera. India was kind of “the oasis at the end of the road” for ancient travellers, since it’s blocked on all sides by mountains and ocean. Any group who entered India in ancient times decided to stay lol.
Thank you! And also thank you for telling me about India diversity, I didn’t know. It’s really interesting! I just put the information about the model’s backstory because I knew people might ask me about it so it’s clear for everyone.
It’s really very nice btw, don’t care about the veil, many brides nowadays don’t wear veil, they put it on theeir head but they don’t cover their face.
