Okay so i’m writing my first story but i’m struggling with the opening scene and first episode. i’m not sure how to start it. i want the readers to be intrigued. so in your opinion what draws a reader into a story? (p.s. it’s a romance story between two friends.)
my idea:
i’m thinking of starting with a bunch of flash forwards of the arguments, tragedys, characters grieving over future events, break ups, and murders (that sounds brutal omg ) that happen later on in the story then going back to before to start from the beginning of the true story. does that sound intriguing?
i was thinking that the mc has a bf and in the first few episodes he begins to realize that she has feelings for the li and breaks up with her but she’s in denial and the break up makes her realize her true feelings.
@alizee.writess The friends can go on a panic and the boy can tell her something or him and her like if he leaving the island and there like distance she can have flash back or something anything in the story the way you like it
