What exactly does Double Life Mean? 🤔

There’s this new writer contest called “Double Life” …
But, what exactlyy does this mean? What things do I have to include in my story basically if I participate in this contest? :eyes:

Think Hannah Montana. The character has a secret identity which they have to hide

Someone who lives a double life means they live two separate “lives”. For example, if during the day, they’re a teacher, but at night, they’re a crime boss. These two “worlds” are separate, and people go great lengths to stop people from finding out.

So…if I plan my story like…on daytime my MC is a normal student, but at evenings, she teaches self-defense to juniors…would that be considered as a double life?

I’d say yes. I think a big element is that they try to keep it a secret, so people from one life don’t find out about the other life.

I would say no in case its still her and everybody from her day life knows about the night life or basicly there is no reason to keep it super secret… which kinda souds like something you do not need to keep secret…

The double life is basicly abou keeping the identity lot separated like only closest to Hanna Montana Knew but the rest didnt know their school mate is popstar.

The key of double life is trying to keep it separated and and secret. The most common thing is having 2 different names and act in one life like you have nothing to do with the other person and vice versa.

That also mens that is some person or people will find out it might cause MC broblem… but what problem would MC get if somebody will find out that she is a student with evening job??

Like clark kent and superman that a double life too and there is clear reason why he needs to keep in secret that they are one person.

What you have described doesnt sound to me like a double life.
