What happened when the teacher walks out of the classroom to do something?

:joy: I guess it depends on their style(old fashioned, trendy, average)

In public school, they’d do stuff like pull out a soda bottle and yell ‘truth or spin’ and they would play until the teacher came back, then they would all run to their seats and pull out math books
In Online school, my teacher walked away from the camera, and my classmate was like ‘Yo everybody, turn off your camera and change your name to reconnecting
’ and we all did, and when my teacher back, she thought she was having internet problems bcuz all 50 of her students were reconnecting, so she went and got her oldest son, and while she was gone, we all put our names and cameras back on, and she was rly confused

For me, the students are rushing back to their seats, then while sitting, they will turn around and talk to their friends like if nothing happened when the teacher comes in.

But the stupid thing abt my classmates is that they would only scramble to sit down when the teacher walked through the door and into the room :joy:

Why do you whisper to each other? Are you asking your friends to repeat what the teacher said or are asking your friends for the answers?

Yes!!! They did Spin the Bottle and we were all only like 14 :joy:

I’m surprised the teacher didn’t catch them!

That happened in primary school to me. I remember someone asked me to not tell on them since I had a front row seat to their shenanigans. The power of the quiet kid. :sunglasses:

That was me all the time :sunglasses: Everyone thought that I was terrifying cuz I was the one kid who didn’t play. They thought I was gonna tell, but in reality I knew that once I started to play, the teacher would walk in(the luck I have :expressionless:) :joy:

I tried to search up the system since we have a different one here but I am in my third year of secondary school so it is weird to see someone say they are from primary school even though I know it is different. How exactly does your school system work in terms of ages/years?

I’m not sure

Does any of the students in your school share their food with their friends?

Oh, definitely. They share everything. They have even shared water bottles. :woman_facepalming:

we’re just randomly chatting abt stuff lol, & bc the staff room is next door to our home room so the teachers would hear us if it wasn’t whispering :white_heart:

Yep, even in covid. They seem to not care. I would never do it, I don’t even eat something that someone has started because it is weird. But it is not a surprise, the people in my class are not the “brightest” bunch.
