What is a good editing app/site to make text without backgrounds?

The title kinda explains itself… I have not been able to find an app where you could have text without a background. Does anyone know a good site or app for doing that?

As overlays, you mean? There are some apps you can use like IbisPaintX, Medibang, or Procreate! There’s also the option to use a software program on your computer, which is what I do! There’s GIMP or Photoshop . GIMP is free to download on your PC!

Yeah as in overlays! I actually just go an art app, but I am still having a hard time how to make the background transparent without making the text tansparent as well!

For text overlays, I use Pixlr, which comes with special fonts and you can use local fonts as well
