What is all the criteria for episode stories rn?

I’ve been here a while, so I should probably know this- but stuff is always changing with episode. What are the criteria for episode stories at this point?
I know things like

• gem choices
  … ok that’s all I got rn

I guess the ones from contest entries are ones to go by. There is a expectations for features stories so I guess that is also good to go by. As for for readers it is all over the place. Many people say one thing then another says another thing.
