What is considered Parental Abuse?

I took a look at the Episode guidelines recently to rehash myself on what is and isn’t allowed when I noticed the rule forbidding parental abuse from being depicted onscreen.

b. No depiction of torture or parental abuse on screen

From looking this up, I’m a little lost because I’m only redirected to different forms of abuse and not parental abuse.

Translating it to my mother language brings up articles of specifically csa, and I don’t want to look at those specific articles for further clarification because it’s a sensitive topic.

However, I’d like to make sure that I’m not interpreting the rules wrong; Is parental abuse just the umbrella term for parents abusing their children?

On second thought, is it a term for children witnessing their parents being abused (potentially by their partner)?

parental abuse is the child abusing the parent, but i’m pretty sure that nothing too graphic on either situation is allowed

or that’s how the term is usually used.
