personally I like the sweet, golden boy/girl who’s gonna treat the MC right. I also dont mind the ‘bad boy’ who isn’t really bad but he/she is just shy and comes off as mean. as my examples say I think its obvious to say I like sweet LI’s who are kind, friendly, and faithful.
It’s not really specifically the LI but I really don’t like cliche love-hate relationships

I like LIs that are kind of shy. I’m okay with a little bit of cockiness and badboy vibes, but too much overwhelms me, and actually starts to annoy me instead of causing me to like him more. On most occasions, I get really annoyed if the LI smokes (come on, have common sense! It kills you 
) I usually look for kind, friendly LIs, which is probably why I don’t like mafia stories.
