What kind of things do you like to see in a story?

The title explains it all. Forgive me if this is in the wrong category!

I love me some drama, but not that generic shit, I like me some unique plot twist. (I can’t think of any stories now but I remember a few that left me shook!) I like mysterious worlds and the feeling in a story that draws you in, and makes you feel like you are truly in the story!

Hey another question. How do you write stories realistically?!

Based of of a personal event that has happened, or if you have a realistic perspective, eg. you or someone you know has experienced it.

I think a good character build up is crucial in every story, how are you going to feel invested in a story if you don’t even know the characters!!

I think it’s important to have a bit of show and a bit of tell, finding the right balance can be tricky, and every character has a different balance :thinking:
