What kind of things do you like to see in a story?

#1

The title explains it all. Forgive me if this is in the wrong category!

#2

I love me some drama, but not that generic shit, I like me some unique plot twist. (I can’t think of any stories now but I remember a few that left me shook!) I like mysterious worlds and the feeling in a story that draws you in, and makes you feel like you are truly in the story!

#3

Thanks!

#4

No worries

#5

I like drama. :coffee:

#6

Lol, thanks!

#7

Np!

#8

Hey another question. How do you write stories realistically?!

#9

Based of of a personal event that has happened, or if you have a realistic perspective, eg. you or someone you know has experienced it.

#10

Nice! Thank you!

#11

I think a good character build up is crucial in every story, how are you going to feel invested in a story if you don’t even know the characters!!

#12

Thanks! Like the term: Show don’t tell, right?

#13

I think it’s important to have a bit of show and a bit of tell, finding the right balance can be tricky, and every character has a different balance

#14

True. Thanks for the help!

#15

Character development. I also love drama, but with unique twists…

#16

Ooh, same. Thank you!

#17

Is this for your story?

#18

Yeah, I’m trying to implement these things into my story so I can make a good story.

#19

Oh. I can help if you want.

#20

Thank you! I have to go now, but I’ll PM you soon!
