What makes your story unique?

What (in your opinion) makes your story unique?
I’ll start by giving an example:
I think my story “Which Is Witch?” is ‘unique’ because
-The MC is bisexual so there are 2 LI of different genders and uses the point system to determine preferred LI.
-MC has a pet. (that can talk)
-MC is a witch in current times.
-The story will have different endings.

Please share and mention with the name of your story*!
PS: Don’t be too hard on yourself with the use of the word ‘unique’, by ‘unique’ I just mean something that’s rarely seen on Episode.

My MC is half Latina and half African American
My MC moved to Hawaii to escape her past
My MC discovers a secret world and magic powers
My MC protects herself and is strong and independent
My MC lives with her 3 brothers and her dad
The choices matter
There is a point system for the LIs
My story will have different endings

My story is unique because it starts in Spain and spans over 11 generations and every single country of the world eventually

For two of my stories, I think what makes it unique is the format. I do standalone episodes, so it’s more like a tv show or sitcom instead of a novel or movie.

My story is unique because:

  • Dragons!
  • The MC was a slave,
  • The story, as it progresses, has a lot of medieval wars (sword & horse overlays are killing me now),
  • There are several major characters who you play as every episode.

My story is unique because:

  • I have 8 major characters and 4 main ones
  • One of my MCs is polyamorous
  • All of my characters excluding one are from the West Indies
  • You play as more than one character

It’s not published yet but here is it!

-There’s two MCs!

-One of the MC’s is French!

-It’s about villains and heroes!

-You can choose if you want to have romance in the story or not!

Um let’s see:

  • Has a strictly male MC (I say strictly because more people are starting to write their stories with the choice of gender)
  • Has female giants
  • The women are naturally dominant and physically stronger
  • MC is of Asian and Pacific Islander descent

Eh, that’s all I can think of.

My story is Unpublished but here you go:
My story has 3 main characters.
Character one is Kimmy Holfsteeter, character two is Anna Myers, and character three is Rose Willams.
Kimmy is dead, Anna 2 is alive, Rose 3 is alive.

My story follows Anna and Rose as they struggle to go through life after Kimmy’s passing.

Eh, I’ll try this.
My story is unique because:

  • It tackles real-life experience (most of it is based on real events)
  • You play as four young adults. (Sometimes more)
  • All my characters are bad asses lol
  • Plot twist everywhere.

Welp, my story sounds like everyone else’s lol. This was a flop.

I’ll do this for the stories I’m working on publishing instead ones I already have published.

For “A Bard’s Calling”, a high fantasy romance novel.

  • The MC, Thorn, is gay, so that means all three love interests are male.
  • Your typical ladies man “bad boy” is his rival and one of the antagonists.
  • The story is like having a DnD group led by a bard- aka a disaster lol
  • I tried to break DnD stereotypes. So the tank of the group is actually one of the sweetest, the rogue is a surly pirate woman who wants to be left alone, the mage is an awkward bumble of limbs, and the elf hates nature and loves all sorts of people.

For my other story “Wheel of Fate” (It’s still a working title, liable to change lol) A modern supernatural mystery with romance.

  • The MC, Violaine, is a bisexual, dark-skinned Creole woman.
  • I mix real witchcraft with fantasy elements
  • You get to choose your own familiar.
  • One of the LI is a Lakota Sioux Native American man.

This was… really hard to do. I’m not even sure what makes my stories unique. :joy:
