I have to agree with @marcosimp. I think you should consider taking on a writing partner. Then you can brainstorm and bounce ideas off each other, and they can also help you out with your coding issues. It doesn’t seem like this story is coming easy to you, and if you’re just writing to fulfill the contest requirements and not because you’re passionate about the story, I think you should consider sitting this one out or working on your current story.
