I have two ways a specific storyline in my story can go
And please bare with me the story lines connect like they do in game of thrones lol
Situation 1
Flynn the MCs father wants to gain the mcs birthright of control over the siren race. So he makes a drug so that way he will get the birthright instead of the mc (who isnt born yet) because he got news from the queen of sirens that she is pregnant
The drug fails and actually turns people who arent siren into monsters that kill just to kill.
Prince arland of the humans falls in love with a werewolf named lupe (main LI’s parents)
Hybrid babies are illegal as well as hybrid relationships among royalty
Before they get married Prince arlands parents “mysteriously” die.
Arland actually killed his parents
But because they got infected by people who were infected by flynn’s drug
He has to keep it secret and make lupe pass off as human so they can get married
They have a baby(LI)
They have to make a deal with the MC’s mother (queen of sirens) to open a portal to send the LI to earth.
She agrees to do it for peace between their races

They had another baby who turned out full human.
They deny peace between sirens
A week later they heir to their throne died.
They blamed the queen and hate sirens ever since

Situation 2
Instead of the baby and the drug. The king and queen hate sirens because arland believes that the queen (MC s mother killed arland’s parents instead of them getting injected and having arland kill them himself
