never mind actually i found what the problem was and fixed it

For future reference, you need a line of dialogue… then the word: choice before the choice.

For anyone who comes across this thread and is having the same issue - the problem is because you cannot have a background change at the end of a choice option. You need to have another command in between the background name and the end bracket.
