What's a good reason to have someone move to America?

hi! so my LI is moving from Italy to america, and i was trying to think of a good reason for him to move to america.

other info - my MC last saw the LI in Italy when she was on a field trip, celebrating her soccer team’s win in their tournament. then once she gets back home she misses him, and i wanted him to move to america, specifically to her city. but i couldn’t think of a good reason for someone to move, any ideas?

  • Landscapes/Seascapes
  • Sports/ Any other curricular acitivtes (ice skating, hockey, football, etc.)
  • Colleges
  • Staying/Spending time with family
  • Weather, like snow, etc. (not sure if that’s a good one because there are a lot of terrible weathers, like tornadoes, etc.)
  • Good cheap shops.
  • Parks, Zoos, etc.
  • Karts, (like the small car in Mario K-art game.)
  • Work/Jobs
