I was playing truth or dare with my crush via text and then he asked me “Who’s your crush?” .
I was taken aback but I muster up all my courage and replied “You”.
I was moments away from throwing my phone and banging my head against the wall but guess what that egoistic jerk took that as a compliment and replied “I am honoured”.
Then there was this awkward silence.
I then noticed that he changed his status to “I love you”.
Of course I was curious and asked him about it then he cleverly said which one?
I like a dumb replied “I love you” to this he replied “What if I reply to that?”
I was absolutely flustered so I replied “Your choice”.
And then he said that he liked me too and was looking for a chance to say it but then he proposed properly and then we started dating.
Now I don’t know what to call it .
I was embarrassed , sad , awkward and happy at the same time.

Funny story he thought I was talking about another dude and when we got to school he even asked me how my little date at the mall go and I was like huh?! And he knew where to look and bam I told him I had some news on my crush and going to the mall and he was like ohhhhh
He texted me first every holiday! And he added that smirk and my friend were dying when they saw it! 🤣
My friend sent me this video of some super cute guy and I was wowed so I sent it to my boyfriend so we could show appreciation of his cuteness together

He opens it and goes
“Is he your cousin?”
And well
I was like flattered but then I was like “wait what no I wouldn’t-“
So um
? It was pretty awkward and I handled that situation really weirdly which was embarrassing but I was super happy because like damn the dude is so cute
In the ninth grade when I broke up with my boyfriend who was my best friend for a year he sent me a super long text saying how he loved me and wanted me back… I felt so awkward so I didn’t reply.
Anyways two years later now we’re pretty good friends again and he’s dating one of my best friends. #smalltownlife
