You’re right, Times Square is one of the best stories out there! It’s also probably the most entertaining one for me too, I spent so much time watching ads for passes that I ran out of ads to watch 
I stayed up until 3 am to read
I also really like The Big Great by Sugarfoot Stories and Dare to Dream by Sarah Robbins because they’re so heartwarming
