When do you think a new art style is coming?

Do you guys even think a new one is coming? If so, when do you think it’s coming? I know Ll’s still getting updates but I just wanted to hear your opinions. Hope it’s better than both Ink and Limelight so ya’ll can stop fighting lol.

I don’t thnk no new art style is needed. Tbh, then tht would be a whole new stuff for the team to deal with, sooo nahhh

Lol if a new style was to ever come out, whether it is better than both ink and limelight, it would still cause a fight as there would be people who would prefer the older styles no matter what and then the demands for a new update would always happen for the previous style.

I think it won’t happen anytime soon. People are still having their issues with LL and using INK so I’d give it a couple of years at least

I did my math, 5 years after Classic came out, ink came out. 5 years after ink came out, Limeligjt came out. It’s been out since like 2018, right? So if we do the math that was like last year… meaning like 4 more years probably.

I don’t think there was 5 years difference between the styles? Episode has only been out for 5 years in total, and I think it was about 2 years between each style

I really do want a new art style to come out, but it would just start more fights. Just look what happened with Limelight. There’s people here and there saying “Limelight is ugly”. And when this mystery style comes out (if it ever does), the same thing would happen all over again. Each style is beautiful in it’s own way. Anywaeeee, I think if there will be a new style, maybe it’ll come out in late 2020 or so.

Episode was created in 2014, not 2008. So one year after Episode was created, INK was released. One year after INK was released, Limelight was released. If I’m not mistaken, INK was released in late 2015, early 2016. And Limelight was released in late 2017, early 2018. So if Episode keeps up with this pattern, the new style would be released in late 2019, early 2020. But that’s obviously not happening :sob:.

yeah if it was released in 2014 then it was classic-

limelight was actually released in july of 2017 i’m looking at a good source now.

your calculations don’t add up though. cause your saying 3 years which would make this year 2017-

True. So that means INK was released in 2015 and Limelight in 2017. But the trademark that Episode has says “2013 - 2019” so maybe it was created in 2013 and not 2014. I don’t know for sure but if it was created in 2013, that means:

  • Classic - 2013
  • INK - 2015
  • Limelight - 2017

So it’s about every two years. That means that the new style would be released in 2019, but since we’re already near the end of the year I doubt they would release it.
