Unpopular opinion: Neville Longbottom is actually a very strong character, despite his downfalls in the first few books/movies. And one thing I really hate about the movies is how Nevilleā€™s background in the prophecy is completely left out of the order of the Phoenix. The prophecy mentioned two boys born at the end of July, and if voldamort had chosen to murder Neville, well, we wouldnā€™t have our famous storyā€¦ but the importance of Nevilleā€™s legacy was never shown in the movies. Notice also, how the sword of Godric Griffindoor presented itself to both Harry and Neville through the sorting hat. Neville is also very iconic in the books because of all this.

Interesting question!

One or two of my classmates were (are) Potterheads and they went on talking about it all day. Then we watched Order of the Phoenix one day in class and though I didnā€™t understand a single thing it picked my interest. Then I read the first book by borrowing from the school library and there you have it. I couldnā€™t stop reading. I even finished Chamber of Secrets in one day which is very fast for me considering that I didnā€™t read very fast at that time.

I first started reading when one of my friends who just transferred from USA was a potterheadā€¦So I borrowed her book to read as i was curious and finished the book in 1 day ā€¦Then my father bought me the books cuz he didnt want me to borrow someoneā€™s book because i love it so much :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I started reading whn my 6 yr old czn repeatedly told me the stories and stuff abt it. Like EVERYTIME soo i thgt it was good amd whn i started, I WAS ADDICTED. I frst read philosophers stone, then watched all movies till Half blood. Then, chamber and half blood and saw the last 2 moviess!!! :heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

Especially the HBP didnā€™t show anything about Half Blood Prince history and the Voldemorts past ā€¦then out of nowhere Snape tells that he is the half blood princeā€¦I didnā€™t understand the film at all :woman_facepalming:t2::woman_facepalming:t2::woman_facepalming:t2:
