Where can I find GOOD special effect?

I’m writing a fantasy story and I need special effects so everyone can see them using their powers (with that I mean: Lightbolts, smoke effects, power orbs etc.). Does anyone know where I can find these?

I myself am writing a fantasy story involving similar elements, I suggest this site!
