My story Osaka Across Time takes place in Osaka, Japan, and it’s very much grounded in the real place.
My story Adventurous: Beyond the Shore and Through the Sea is also set in Japan, but in Yokohama. Unlike Osaka, I’ve never lived there, so this one is a more fictionalized Yokohama with fewer references to local geography than my Osaka story, and it could really be one of many cities in Japan.
