1, you can see the character better than the others

I pick 3 because the font for both Title and the By line are close enough that the difference between font types play off each other and the placement draws the eyes into the character area.
It reminds me of book covers I’ve seen in stores.

If your name is on top and the story name on bottom, the writers name should be smaller so people dont confuse it with the title
Then I wouldn’t choise any where the title is over the characters because it might be hard to read for some people since in some vases its white text over a white object (in these cases, shirt)
7 also leaves too much space on the top free and puts the title in a crowded place instead
