Which genre gets more reads?

I have been having this doubt for so long. Which genre gets more reads? Romance? Mystery? Fantasy? Horror? Thriller?

I think romance gets the most reads however I think it is the hardest genre to trend in as there are SO many of them out there. I also think drama gets a lot of reads. Fantasy, in my opinion, is a rising genre on the app.

Yes! I also have the same opinion. But is there any criteria in which episode features a story? For example. Does episode feature horror stories? If no which all story genre does it features?

I’m not sure if a horror story has been featured. There are many romance stories to be featured, such as Sandra G’s stories. There was a thriller (Mystery on Hanging Hill Lane) recently.

I think Romance and drama, but also fantasy and mystery after (my opinion)

However, this is not always the case. I am an author of two mystery stories and two drama stories. My mystery stories have a lot more reads than my drama stories.

The Infected became officially featured.
If you just mean weekly shelves? Just look at the current shelf (Campfire Stories) lol.

I mean. For example episode Buys stories and feature it as official story with exclusive gem choices right? That’s what I meant :sweat_smile:

Then the only one I can think of in horror is The Infected so it’s not common.
But it does make sense because romance is the most popular genre (just look at the trending section).
Horror and adventure are probably the easiest genres to trend in.

horror is the bastard child of the genres. If you want your scary story to have any kind of following , put it in thriller instead. You’ll get more reads.
