Hi guys!! I’m New to the Episode Community☺️. I’ve written out my whole story, which is going to be my 1st story. Yes I am definitely a beginner Episode Writer. I just wanted to ask you guys for your opinions. Which would be easier to code on and do Digital Art? A Laptop? Or iPad? Because I just found out that you can’t do Digital art on a Laptop unless it’s a Touch screen Laptop. But Touch screen Laptops cost more than a regular Laptop. I just wanted to hear your guys opinions. Which is best? And why?

Well coding is easy on laptop because on iPad my fingers unnecessary touches here there and my coding get all damaged so u can do on laptop it’s easy and simple

I think you can still do digital art on a laptop, a pen tablet can help with that. (huion, kamvas, wacom)
I find it hard definitely to do coding on a tablet or iPad ;-;

Coding, definitely a laptop or pc. Digital art is probably best on a bigger device with touchscreen and a stylus (example ipad), but you also have drawing pads for pc and laptop, for around 40-50$(/€) but I wouldn’t recommend those since you cant really see where exactly you’re drawing. If you want to do digital art, I recommend an ipad with stylus (/apple pencil but those are overpriced imo) a samsung tablet is also perfectly fine, then its just a matter of finding the right app for you. If you don’t have the money for a tablet/ipad, a phone works too. Its a bit harder on phone since the screen is smaller, but it works:)

For coding it’s definitely better to use a laptop/pc.
For drawing I would recommend firstly to try working on the laptop with a mouse. Maybe try to draw/edit sth, then see if you feel comfortable working that way (drawing looking at screen only). If yes then the drawing tablet will be perfect.
But if you find it hard to draw that way Ipad or any screen tablet should work. Overall, everything really depends on your own personal preference.
I personally use laptop with a drawing tablet and love it! I feel really comfortable with it because I’ve been working with a mouse for a while before getting a tablet. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions related to it

Coding should be done on a laptop/PC as it’s more convenient. Trust me, I tried to code with my iPad and it was a MESS!
For digital art, I would prefer tablet/ iPad as it’s more convenient and because I can’t do digital art on laptop. I do have the setup but guess what? Your girl isn’t talented to be seeing the screen and drawing on the pad simultaneously so yes, iPad/ tablet should be more convenient.

A solution could be getting a monitor and tablet. Where the monitor has an adapter for tablet cords. I personally don’t do this because my tablet died on me after 3 yrs before I could try it, so you would have to do external research.
What I do:
Code on a laptop. Hp is the current one I use and I use the opera browser (GX version) which is on mobile and laptop. It works very well.
I edit on laptop using medibang. And for images that are only mobile I’ll use medibang on my phone and upload them.
I draw via paper and/ or phone. I will draw/ outline on paper and then color on my phone after scanning it or taking a image in good lighting. Then I use ibis paint x to color it. (This is because drawing on paper is easier for me)
